Job Duties
- Assist in food preparation under the guidance of the head chef or kitchen supervisor
- Wash, peel, chop, cut, or portion ingredients as required
- Help with cooking, baking, grilling, or other kitchen tasks
- Support with packaging, labeling, and displaying ready-to-eat items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Monitor stock of ingredients and report shortages to the supervisor
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure cleaning schedules are followed
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers when required
