Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- food management certification
- minimum 2 years experience in kitchen management or a similar role
- physical ability to stand for up to 4 hours continuously
- flexibility to work 50-55 hours weekly
- willingness to work five days a week
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- able to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, and crawling
- proficient in English reading and writing
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- willingness to attend all required meetings and participate in ongoing training
- adhere to company policies and health standards
- available for possible transfers within 30 miles of restaurant locations
Job Qualifications
- current food management certification
- demonstrate an ownership mentality
- flexible scheduling availability
- willingness to transfer to different geographical locations
- ability to work a 5 day work week, 50-55 hours per week
- days off must fall between Monday-Thursday
- adept at ordering and formulating pars
- thorough understanding and compliance with Florida State health code standards
- ability to conduct timely interviews
- proficient in issuing written employee evaluations
- clear vision and speech, attentive listening, taste, and smell
- ability to read and write English
- physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
- capable of bending, stooping, squatting, or crawling
- coordination to operate kitchen equipment
- adherence to dress and grooming policies
- proficiency across all kitchen stations including expo
Job Duties
- communicate all kitchen issues with management throughout the day
- read and write notes in the manager's daily log
- attend weekly manager meetings and monthly staff meetings
- read the weekly memo
- complete weekly or monthly employee evaluations
- communicate with all M.O.D. when shift is completed
- provide accurate, honest reports of all events both positive and negative
- comply with all policies, rules, and directions in manuals, memos, and meetings
- enforce proper measurements, recipe adherence, cleanliness, check time ceilings, and quality control
- attend quarterly supervisor meetings
