Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current food management certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of kitchen or restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to travel up to 30 miles from the restaurant location
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Commitment to comply with health and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage and evaluate staff effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Current food management certification
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality
  • Flexibility for scheduling
  • Willingness to transfer to different geographical locations
  • Ability to work a 5 day work week of 50-55 hours
  • Two days off between Monday and Thursday
  • Adept at ordering and formulating pars
  • Understanding and facilitating Florida State health code standards
  • Ability to issue written evaluations
  • Proficiency in seeing, speaking, listening, tasting, and smelling
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to stand and move moderately for up to four hours at a time
  • Stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
  • Coordination to operate kitchen equipment
  • Adherence to kitchen dress and grooming policies
  • Proficient at all kitchen stations including expo

Job Duties

  • Communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
  • Read and write notes in the manager's daily log in English
  • Attend weekly manager's meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • Read the weekly memo
  • Complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
  • Communicate with all managers on duty when shift is completed
  • Relate accurate and honest reports of events both positive and negative
  • Comply with all policies, rules and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
  • Enforce proper measurements, recipe adherence, cleanliness, check time ceilings, and quality control
  • Attend quarterly supervisor meetings
