Job Requirements
- Experience working in a full-service, high volume kitchen
- Experience managing employees
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knife skills to suit station prep
- Knowledge of health department code for culinary cleanliness
- Ability to follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
- Ability to write weekly work schedule
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets for inventory and cost controls

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities is a must, ability to lead by example, and stay upbeat and positive under pressure
Job Duties
- Maintain food quality with sense of urgency towards check times
- Strong communication skills with ability to motivate kitchen team
- In charge of leading, teaching, and developing current and new staff
- Help prepare and create weekly specials
- Ability to work 8-10 hour plus shifts, ability to stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Able to grasp, lift and or carry up to 50 pounds
- Knife skills to suit station prep
- Culinary cleanliness to health department code
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station while practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Able to write a weekly work schedule
- Able to work with Excel spreadsheets for inventory and cost controls
