Job Requirements

  • high school degree
  • minimum of five years of hospitality management experience
  • available to work 2pm-11pm Monday-Saturday
  • strong communication skills
  • supervisory and leadership skills
  • knowledge of financial and budgetary practices
  • proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • ability to perform physical motor skills such as lifting and bending
  • multi-tasking abilities
  • strong client relationship skills
  • ability to coach and develop team members
  • commitment to food safety and cleanliness

Job Qualifications

  • high school degree is required
  • BA/BS in Food Service or Culinary Management is preferred
  • a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the hospitality industry specifically in management
  • available 2pm-11pm Monday-Saturday
  • knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
  • demonstrates loyalty, integrity, motivation, trustworthiness, dependability, empathy, and professionalism
  • a passion for people and service
  • able to lead, coach and delegate a team of individuals in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to develop others

Job Duties

  • everything behind the swinging door during the shift
  • always delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A quality requirements
  • coaching the behaviors of all leaders and team members who work in the kitchen
  • have a hustle that creates surprisingly fast speed of service
  • attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followed
  • execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment
  • maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety
  • vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchen
  • ensuring the kitchen is ready for a backstage tour with a four-minute lead time
  • daily assign kitchen crew to positions and ensure all pickup/delivery orders are made in a timely manner
  • coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen team members
  • aligning daily practices of the kitchen with the vision of the organization and with the goals of the organization
  • responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment used in the kitchen
  • either repair in-house or call appropriate repair person for broken equipment within 24 hours of notification of problem
  • track and eliminate waste of food
  • responsible for team building, and coaching members of the kitchen team
  • responsible for all checklists, truck orders, and produce orders
