Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have current food management certification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in kitchen or restaurant management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Physical stamina to perform kitchen tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Willingness to work up to 50-55 hours per week
  • Ability to travel within 30 miles of workplace
  • Must comply with health and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in kitchen equipment operation
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Willingness to transfer to different geographical locations
  • Ability to work a 5 day work week totaling 50-55 hours
  • Availability for two consecutive days off between Monday and Thursday
  • Adept at ordering and formulating pars
  • Understanding and compliance with Florida State health code standards
  • Ability to conduct timely interviews and adhere to hiring policies
  • Ability to issue written evaluations for performance
  • Proficient in reading and writing English
  • Ability to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
  • Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
  • Coordination to operate kitchen equipment
  • Adherence to dress and grooming policies
  • Proficiency at all kitchen stations including expo

Job Duties

  • Communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
  • Read and write notes in the manager's daily log
  • Attend weekly manager's meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • Read the weekly memo
  • Complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
  • Communicate with all managers on duty when the shift is completed
  • Relate an accurate, honest report of all events both positive and negative
  • Comply with all policies, rules, and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
  • Enforce proper measurements, recipe adherence, cleanliness, check time ceilings, and quality control
  • Attend the quarterly supervisor meetings
