Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- current food management certification
- minimum 3 years experience in kitchen management or related supervisory role
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to transfer within 30 miles of original location
- physical ability to stand and move for up to 4 hours at a time
- capability to work 50-55 hours per week
- able to lift 50 lbs
- good communication skills
- proficiency in english reading and writing

- able to work 5 day work week: 50-55 hours per week
- 2 days off must fall between monday-thurs
- adept at ordering and formulating pars
- understand, comply, and facilitate florida state health code standards
- adhere to flanigan's always hiring policy and conduct interviews in a timely fashion
- issue written evaluations for positive and/or negative performances
- able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
- able to read and write english
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
- able to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
- have the coordination necessary to operate kitchen equipment
- adhere to flanigan's kitchen policies for dress and grooming
- proficient at all kitchen stations including expo
Job Duties
- communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
- must read and write (in english) notes in the manager's daily log
- attend weekly manager's meetings and monthly staff meetings
- read the weekly memo
- complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations
- communicate with all managers on duty when shift is completed
- relate an accurate, honest report of all events both positive and negative
- comply with all policies, rules and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
- enforce proper measurements, recipe adherence, cleanliness, check time ceilings, and quality control
- attend the quarterly supervisor meetings
