Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1-2 years of staff management experience
  • previous food service experience
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficiency in reading recipes and mathematical conversions
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks

Job Duties

  • Understand National School Breakfast Program
  • understand National School Lunch Program
  • perform food preparation on a large production scale
  • utilize kitchen equipment safely and effectively
  • meet company’s expectations and food concepts
  • maintain daily production records and complete necessary paperwork
  • facilitate the execution of catered events as needed
  • work with regional chefs to develop and implement recipes
  • train school cafeteria workers in food production and recipe utilization
  • instruct on the use and functions of kitchen equipment
