  • meets mandated state federal criteria
  • servsafe certified or certified within 6 months of hire date
  • preferably prior school food service experience
  • preferably prior cooking experience
  • basic knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
  • excellent work ethic and reliability
  • strong people skills
  • meets all mandated health requirements
  • respects confidentiality rights
  • record free of criminal violations preventing public school employment
  • complies with drug free workplace rules

  • supports corporation policy and administrative directives
  • english proficiency or enrollment in adult education classes if needed

Job Qualifications

  • servsafe certified or willing to obtain cert within 6 months

Job Duties

  • supervise food preparation and kitchen staff
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies
  • uphold the Noblesville Schools vision and mission by setting a positive example
  • monitor adherence to food service policies and procedures
  • support administration by following all directives and maintaining confidentiality
