Job Requirements

  • High school degree
  • minimum five years of food industry experience
  • supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to communicate with management, customers, and associates
  • knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
  • proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and the Internet
  • ability to perform motor skills such as lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping, and arm-hand coordination continuously
  • ability to multi-task and concentrate despite interruptions
  • strong client relationship skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree required
  • BA/BS in Food Service or Culinary Management preferred
  • minimum five years of experience in the food industry

Job Duties

  • Manage all activities behind the swinging door during the shift
  • deliver crave-able food promptly that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A quality requirements
  • coach behaviors of all kitchen leaders and team members
  • create surprisingly fast speed of service through hustle
  • ensure preparation and production procedures are followed with attention to detail
  • execute systems to maintain a refreshingly clean environment
  • promote food safety and maintain a well-organized kitchen
  • prepare kitchen for backstage tours with a minimum four-minute lead time
  • daily assign kitchen crew positions and ensure timely completion of pickup and delivery orders
  • coach, evaluate, and provide accountability for kitchen team members
  • align kitchen practices with restaurant vision and goals
  • handle repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment promptly
  • track and eliminate food waste
  • build and coach kitchen team members
  • manage checklists, truck orders, and produce orders
