Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in senior management within a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds regularly
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment
  • Capacity to perform repetitive motions and work in varying temperature conditions
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations including Serve Safe certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of senior management experience in bar or restaurant
  • Proven ability to build, hire, and grow strong and diverse teams
  • Business acumen with ability to analyze P&L and KPIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High sense of urgency and energy
  • Flexible availability including nights and weekends
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS and back-office systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs

Job Duties

  • Recruiting, hiring, and training kitchen staff
  • Creating and executing a fresh, appealing food menu
  • Managing inventory and ordering food and supplies
  • Ensuring compliance with Serve Safe and food safety standards
  • Monitoring labor and cost control
  • Overseeing efficient kitchen production
  • Collaborating with Private Events Sales Manager on catering
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas
  • Maintaining kitchen equipment and training staff on usage
  • Ensuring quality of food presentation and timeliness
