Job Requirements

  • Must have current food management certification
  • Must possess and demonstrate an ownership mentality
  • Must have flexibility for scheduling as the restaurant is open 365 days per year
  • Must be willing to transfer to different geographical locations
  • Able to work a 5-day work week with 50-55 hours
  • Must have 2 days off between Monday and Thursday
  • Must schedule vacations between April and November only
  • Must be adept at ordering and formulating pars
  • Must understand and comply with Florida State health code standards
  • Must adhere to hiring policy and conduct interviews timely
  • Must issue written employee evaluations
  • Must be able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Requires standing and mobility for up to 4 hours at a time and stamina for 50-55 hours weekly
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
  • Must have coordination to operate kitchen equipment
  • Must adhere to kitchen policies on dress and grooming
  • Must be proficient at all kitchen stations including expo

Job Qualifications

  • Current food management certification
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality
  • Proficient in English reading and writing
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple kitchen stations including expo
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experienced in enforcing health and safety codes
  • Skilled in ordering, inventory management, and formulating pars

Job Duties

  • Lead back-of-house kitchen team through ordering and receiving, oversee food prep and service quality, manage cleaning and closing procedures, communicate kitchen issues with management throughout the day, read and write notes in the manager's daily log, attend weekly manager's meetings and monthly staff meetings, complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
