Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen or restaurant management preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage payroll and budgeting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints in a professional manner
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Oversee the interviewing, hiring, orientation & training of all back of house employees
  • Complete opening & closing paperwork
  • Receive & submit invoices
  • Ensure company policies & procedures are followed
  • Communicate effectively with all staff
  • Monitor payroll, create reports & submit payroll
  • Audit safe & cash drawers
  • Assist in ensuring Tumbleweed food, service, sanitation & safety standards are met
  • Calculate, prepare and drop off bank deposits
  • Interact with guests through table touches and deal with guest complaints
  • Set & maintain Tumbleweed uniform standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of all back of house areas
  • Meet and exceed company budget
  • Monitor food cost, waste & counts
  • Develop BOH employees
  • Order and keep product at par levels
  • Perform other duties as assigned
