Job Requirements
- Must be proficient in all culinary stations and have achieved Lead Cook status or equivalent
- Must be articulate and well-versed in sanitation inspections and walk-throughs
- Must be able to take direction and delegate tasks effectively
- Must promote a team atmosphere and work well with others
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient with computer and POS systems for timekeeping and administrative responsibilities
- Must lead by example and demonstrate good judgment
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a satisfactory background check including criminal history
- Must be knowledgeable of allergy procedures
- Must be ServeSafe and CPR-certified
- Must have completed Guest Relations and Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Prevention Training
- Must be knowledgeable of Legal Sea Foods menus, inventory and ordering systems
- Must understand daily financial metrics and goals for execution purposes

Job Duties
- Lead the restaurant BOH shift and BOH department employees in the absence of a senior BOH manager to ensure excellent restaurant operations including opening and closing duties
- Handle employee relations issues, concerns and guest complaints during shift when the BOH manager on duty is not present
- Assist with staffing the restaurant including participating in the hiring process
- Manage job assignments, break rotation and delegation of tasks during shift when manager on duty is not present
- Responsible for necessary ordering of product in the absence of the BOH manager on duty
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation matters as an opener/closer
- Adhere to company operational guidelines, including food specifications, ticket time obligations, sanitation procedures, allergy procedures, and food quality walkthroughs
- Assist with the preparation and completion of paperwork required to operate the restaurant
- Assist with recordkeeping duties including adding employees to systems, ensuring employees are punched in while working, and maintaining accurate personnel files
- Follow and enforce company standards, protocols, and policies including safety, sanitation, and respectful workplace
