Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a culinary or kitchen management role
- understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Job Duties
- lead restaurant BOH shift and BOH department employees to ensure excellent restaurant operations including opening and closing duties
- handle employee relations issues and guest complaints during shift in the absence of senior BOH manager
- assist with staffing of the restaurant including participating in hiring process
- manage job assignments, break rotation, and delegation of tasks during shift in absence of manager on duty
- responsible for ordering products in absence of BOH manager on duty
- ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation matters as opener or closer
- adhere to company operational guidelines including food specifications, ticket time obligations, sanitation procedures, allergy procedures, and food quality walkthroughs
- assist with preparation and completion of paperwork required to operate the restaurant
- assist with recordkeeping duties including adding employees to systems, ensuring employees are punched in while performing work, and maintaining accurate employee personnel files
- enforce company standards, protocols, and policies including safety, sanitation, and respectful workplace
