Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • knowledgeable of allergy procedures
  • ServeSafe and CPR-certified
  • guest relations training
  • training in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prevention
  • knowledgeable of Legal Sea Foods menus
  • knowledgeable of inventory and ordering systems
  • familiar with daily financial metrics and goals
  • able to complete Form I-9 and participate in E-Verify process

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in all culinary stations with Lead Cook status or equivalent
  • articulate and knowledgeable in sanitation inspections and walkthroughs
  • able to take direction and delegate tasks effectively
  • promotes a team atmosphere and works well within a team
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • proficient in company systems including POS and computer use for administrative duties
  • demonstrates leadership by example

  • availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Lead restaurant BOH shift and BOH department employees in the absence of senior BOH manager
  • handle employee relations issues and guest complaints during shift
  • assist with staffing and participate in hiring process
  • manage job assignments, break rotation, and task delegation during shift
  • order necessary product when BOH manager is absent
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation matters as opener/closer
  • adhere to company operational guidelines including food specifications, ticket time obligations, sanitation procedures, allergy procedures, and food quality walkthroughs
  • assist with preparation and completion of necessary paperwork
  • maintain accurate recordkeeping including employee timekeeping and personnel files
  • enforce company standards, protocols, and policies including safety, sanitation, and respectful workplace
