Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in large professional kitchens or food manufacturing
  • strong people management and coaching skills
  • excellent systems thinking capabilities
  • proficient with computers for recipe documentation, inventory management, and kitchen operations
  • strong understanding of food health and safety regulations
  • willingness to work Tuesday through Saturday with schedule flexibility
  • hands-on approach and ability to tackle various kitchen tasks
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in large professional kitchens or food manufacturing
  • strong people management and coaching skills
  • excellent systems thinking capabilities
  • proficient with computers for recipe documentation, inventory management, and kitchen operations

  • bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • experience working in fast-paced startup environments

Job Duties

  • Lead and coach a team of 25 plus cooks and builders
  • scale the cooking operation and team to meet rapid business growth
  • create and refine processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • manage the production system that generates production and build lists
  • ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations
  • oversee inventory management and recipe documentation
  • foster a positive and productive kitchen environment
