Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years of kitchen management or related culinary experience
  • food management certification
  • flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week
  • ability to work a five-day workweek with two consecutive days off between Monday and Thursday
  • ability to transfer to different geographical locations
  • proficiency in English reading and writing
  • ability to adhere to company dress and grooming policies
  • physical stamina for bending, stooping, squatting, and mobility
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of Florida State health code standards
  • proficiency at all kitchen stations including expo
  • ability to conduct timely interviews and issue employee evaluations

Job Duties

  • lead the back-of-house team through kitchen operations including ordering, receiving, prep, service, cleaning, and closing
  • communicate kitchen issues with management throughout the day
  • read and write notes in the manager's daily log
  • attend weekly managers' meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
  • communicate with all managers on duty when shifts are completed
  • provide honest reports of all kitchen events both positive and negative
  • comply with all kitchen policies, rules, and directions
  • enforce proper measurements, recipe adherence, cleanliness, check time ceilings, and quality control
  • attend quarterly supervisor meetings
