Job Requirements
- Buffet experience including Golden Corral, Ryan's, Sizzler, Hometown Buffet, or Old Country Buffet
- Ability to perform duties according to operational and regulatory policies
- Full-time availability
- Submission of resume and list of at least two professional and one personal references or letter of references
- Experience in overseeing buffet operations aligned with restaurant goals
- Skills in budget development and monitoring
- Familiarity with food production estimation and inventory management
- Capability to handle administrative tasks
- Strong leadership and personnel management experience
- Understanding of health and safety compliance
Job Qualifications
- Five years of experience as hospitality manager
- Experience in customer service or sales
- Knowledge of best practices in customer service, hospitality management, and hotel operations
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant software such as ERP
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- BA in hospitality management or related field preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Develops and monitors budgets and sales goals related to food and labor costs
- Estimates daily and weekly production and inventory food requirements
- Coordinates inventory needs with menu forecasts
- Monitor all food products for quality and established standards
- Interact with kitchen management on presentation and menu execution
- Complete administrative duties including paperwork, daily reports, menu analysis, cost analysis, and ordering supplies
- Responsible for subordinate performance reviews and disciplinary actions
- Forecast, create, or approve all schedules
- Hire qualified personnel and monitor training of team members
- Perform all subordinate position functions as needed
- Anticipate and control flow of service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Establish standards for customer service
- Organize and coordinate people and operations
- Supervise and oversee staff members
- Check supplies and equipment quantity and quality
- Develop and communicate standard operating procedures
- Ensure adherence to legal, health, and safety regulations
- Keep and update relevant documents and records
- Create reports for senior management
