Job Requirements

  • food management certification
  • ownership mentality
  • flexibility for scheduling
  • willing to transfer to different geographical location
  • able to work 5 day work week with 50-55 hours per week
  • 2 days off must fall between Monday-Thurs
  • vacations scheduled between April and November only and must be taken or forfeited
  • adept at ordering and formulating pars
  • comply with Florida State health code standards
  • conduct interviews in a timely fashion
  • issue written evaluations for performances
  • able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
  • able to read and write English
  • ability to stand and move about at a moderate pace for up to 4 hours at length
  • stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • able to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
  • coordination to operate kitchen equipment
  • adhere to kitchen policies for dress and grooming

Job Qualifications

  • current food management certification

  • proficient at all kitchen stations including expo

Job Duties

  • communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
  • read and write notes in the manager’s daily log
  • attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
  • read the weekly memo
  • complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
  • communicate with all M.O.D. when shift is completed
  • relate an accurate, honest report of all events both positive and negative
  • comply with all policies, rules and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
  • enforce proper measurements, recipe adherence, cleanliness, check time ceilings, and quality control
  • attend the quarterly supervisor meetings
