Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen management or related field
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • food handler's certification or willingness to obtain
  • reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a kitchen manager or in a similar supervisory role in food service
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • experience with employee training and scheduling
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • A positive leader with excellent communication skills
  • knowledgeable of all kitchen operations
  • supervise food prep and cooking
  • supervise, coach, and motivate kitchen employees
  • maintain high-performance standards
  • train employees and manage schedules
  • keep weekly and monthly cost reports
  • maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
  • work in deployment with the staff some days while running the operation other days
