Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • valid food handler certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a kitchen manager or similar leadership role in food service
  • strong knowledge of culinary operations and kitchen safety
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • ability to manage teams effectively
  • proficiency in scheduling and cost control
  • understanding of food hygiene and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Lead kitchen operations and ensure smooth food preparation
  • supervise, coach, and motivate kitchen staff
  • maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
  • train employees and manage work schedules
  • monitor food quality and presentation
  • keep weekly and monthly cost reports
  • assist staff by working alongside them as needed
