Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- valid food handler certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a kitchen manager or similar leadership role in food service
- strong knowledge of culinary operations and kitchen safety
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage teams effectively
- proficiency in scheduling and cost control
- understanding of food hygiene and sanitation regulations
Job Duties
- Lead kitchen operations and ensure smooth food preparation
- supervise, coach, and motivate kitchen staff
- maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
- train employees and manage work schedules
- monitor food quality and presentation
- keep weekly and monthly cost reports
- assist staff by working alongside them as needed
