Job Requirements

  • Be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, crowded, and loud environment
  • Follow safety and sanitation rules at all times
  • Be able to stand for long periods up to 10 hours
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to reach, bend, and stoop regularly

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in business or related field or minimum 3 years of kitchen management experience
  • Proven experience training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 employees
  • Experience with ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
  • High level of accountability
  • Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system

Job Duties

  • Deliver the highest level of execution for guest experience and hospitality
  • Ensure kitchen follows company guidelines and best practices
  • Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion
  • Provide leadership and set clear expectations for the team in collaboration with the GM
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings and communicate opportunities for improvement
  • Lead kitchen operations to optimize performance
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, and food handling practices
  • Develop recipes and production standards
  • Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff
  • Conduct coaching, counseling, and performance reviews
  • Support payroll and timekeeping efforts
  • Monitor financial performance including food and labor costs
  • Conduct inventory and reporting with finance
  • Review monthly P&L statements for operational insights
