Job Requirements
- Be able to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, crowded, and loud environment
- Follow safety and sanitation rules at all times
- Be able to stand for long periods up to 10 hours
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop regularly
Job Qualifications
- College degree in business or related field or minimum 3 years of kitchen management experience
- Proven experience training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 employees
- Experience with ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
- High level of accountability
- Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system
Job Duties
- Deliver the highest level of execution for guest experience and hospitality
- Ensure kitchen follows company guidelines and best practices
- Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion
- Provide leadership and set clear expectations for the team in collaboration with the GM
- Conduct weekly staff meetings and communicate opportunities for improvement
- Lead kitchen operations to optimize performance
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with health regulations
- Manage purchasing, inventory, and food handling practices
- Develop recipes and production standards
- Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff
- Conduct coaching, counseling, and performance reviews
- Support payroll and timekeeping efforts
- Monitor financial performance including food and labor costs
- Conduct inventory and reporting with finance
- Review monthly P&L statements for operational insights
