Job Requirements

  • Be able to work standing for long periods (up to 10 hours)
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and late evenings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded, and loud environment
  • Follow safety and sanitation regulations at all times

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in business or related field or at least 3 years of kitchen management
  • Experience in training, developing, and leading teams of 15 to 20 employees
  • Experience in ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory preferred
  • Strong communication and team player skills
  • High level of accountability
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system

Job Duties

  • Deliver the highest level of execution for guest experience, superior product and hospitality
  • Ensure the kitchen follows company guidelines and best practices
  • Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion
  • Provide leadership to the team in collaboration with the General Manager
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to highlight improvements and recognize achievements
  • Lead kitchen operations to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain facility and equipment according to health guidelines
  • Manage purchasing for food and operating supplies
  • Control inventory levels and enforce proper food handling and rotation
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the kitchen
  • Develop recipes and production standards
  • Hire and maintain staffing levels
  • Provide training and development for team members
  • Deliver coaching, counseling, and performance reviews
  • Support payroll and timekeeping activities
  • Drive financial performance by managing food and labor costs
  • Conduct period end inventory and reporting
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements for operational insights
