Job Requirements

  • Able to work in standing position for long periods up to 10 hours
  • able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • willing to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and late evenings
  • flexible to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
  • committed to following safety and sanitation rules and laws
  • capable of coaching and mentoring staff
  • proven ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded, loud environment

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in business or related field or minimum 3 years kitchen management experience
  • experience training, developing and leading teams of 15-20 employees
  • familiarity with ordering, receiving and controlling inventory preferred
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • high level of accountability
  • excellent basic math skills
  • ability to operate POS system

Job Duties

  • Manage daily culinary operations for Prime Pizza
  • direct back of house team to deliver superior product and guest experience
  • ensure kitchen compliance with company guidelines and health regulations
  • maintain facility and equipment according to local health codes
  • oversee purchasing for food and operating supplies
  • manage inventory levels and implement food safety practices
  • maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen in collaboration with General Manager
  • develop and maintain recipes and production standards
  • hire and maintain staffing levels
  • provide staff training and development
  • deliver coaching and timely performance reviews
  • support payroll and timekeeping functions
  • drive financial performance controlling food and labor costs
  • conduct inventory and reporting with finance
  • review monthly P&L statements for operational insights
  • conduct weekly staff meetings for training and recognition
  • foster an environment of diversity and inclusion
  • mentor and promote staff development
  • ensure safety and sanitation compliance
  • work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
