Job Requirements
- Able to work in standing position for long periods up to 10 hours
- able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- willing to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and late evenings
- flexible to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
- committed to following safety and sanitation rules and laws
- capable of coaching and mentoring staff
- proven ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded, loud environment
Job Qualifications
- College degree in business or related field or minimum 3 years kitchen management experience
- experience training, developing and leading teams of 15-20 employees
- familiarity with ordering, receiving and controlling inventory preferred
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- high level of accountability
- excellent basic math skills
- ability to operate POS system
Job Duties
- Manage daily culinary operations for Prime Pizza
- direct back of house team to deliver superior product and guest experience
- ensure kitchen compliance with company guidelines and health regulations
- maintain facility and equipment according to local health codes
- oversee purchasing for food and operating supplies
- manage inventory levels and implement food safety practices
- maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen in collaboration with General Manager
- develop and maintain recipes and production standards
- hire and maintain staffing levels
- provide staff training and development
- deliver coaching and timely performance reviews
- support payroll and timekeeping functions
- drive financial performance controlling food and labor costs
- conduct inventory and reporting with finance
- review monthly P&L statements for operational insights
- conduct weekly staff meetings for training and recognition
- foster an environment of diversity and inclusion
- mentor and promote staff development
- ensure safety and sanitation compliance
- work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
