Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in kitchen or restaurant management
- Familiarity with Southern Nevada Health District regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous kitchen management experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with inventory and ordering
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Directing and leading a kitchen staff in recipe execution and food preparation
- Ensuring proper storage of all foods
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all back-of-the-house areas as per health regulations
- Ordering food products from preferred vendors
- Scheduling kitchen staff
- Training all new hires
- Following all kitchen checklists
- Cooking and preparing food as a line employee when business volume and staffing require
