Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or kitchen management
  • Knowledge of Southern Nevada Health District regulations
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a kitchen manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop kitchen staff
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering
  • Familiarity with scheduling software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Directing and leading a kitchen staff in recipes and execution of food prep and presentation
  • Proper storage of all foods
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all back-of-the-house areas as directed by the Southern Nevada Health District
  • Ordering food products from preferred vendors
  • Scheduling of kitchen staff
  • Training of all new hires
  • Following all kitchen checklists
  • Cooking and preparing food as a line employee when volume of business and staffing needs require it
