Job Requirements

  • Be able to work in a standing position for up to 10 hours
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded and loud environment
  • Follow safety and sanitation rules and laws at all times

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred college degree or culinary certificate or related field
  • At least 3 years of kitchen management experience
  • Experience in training, developing and leading teams of 15-20 employees
  • Experience in ordering, receiving and controlling inventory preferred
  • Strong communication and team player skills
  • High level of accountability
  • Excellent basic math skills
  • Ability to operate a POS system

Job Duties

  • Deliver highest level of execution for guest experience, superior product and hospitality
  • Ensure kitchen follows company guidelines and best practices
  • Foster an environment of diversity and inclusion
  • Provide leadership to the team in collaboration with the GM
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to highlight improvement opportunities and recognize achievements
  • Lead operations to ensure optimal outlet performance
  • Maintain facility and equipment according to health guidelines
  • Manage food purchasing and inventory control
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the kitchen
  • Develop recipes and production standards
  • Hire and maintain kitchen staffing levels
  • Provide training, coaching and performance reviews
  • Support GM with payroll and timekeeping
  • Drive financial performance with controllable food and labor costs
  • Conduct inventory reporting with finance
  • Review monthly P&L statements for operational insights
