Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift forty pounds frequently
  • Capacity for constant standing and walking
  • Frequent squatting, reaching, and stooping
  • Must obtain ServSafe Manager Certification within six months of hire
  • Experience in food service or kitchen management preferred
  • Must complete USDA Mandatory Professional Standards training annually
  • Proven ability to manage teams and kitchen operations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe Manager Certification obtained within six months of hire
  • Experience in food preparation and kitchen management
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and staff training skills
  • Ability to manage financial records and inventory
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to comply with all food service regulatory requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintain food costs to a Profit and Loss ratio to meet business requirements
  • Train and develop kitchen staff including creating and revising training materials
  • Deliver safety and HACCP training and monitor related practices
  • Manage production and complete daily production reports to ensure compliance and minimize waste and theft
  • Oversee sanitation, cleaning, and security of kitchen facilities
  • Maintain kitchen financial records and compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Manage Subway franchise operations at the site
  • Complete USDA Mandatory Professional Standards training annually
  • Maintain meals per labor hour and food inventory to meet Profit and Loss ratios
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
