Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 75% of the workday
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs occasionally including overhead lifting
- Possess ServSafe Manager Certification within six months of hire
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as chopping and keypad entry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and problem-solve effectively

Job Duties
- Manage overall kitchen operations including food preparation and service
- Supervise and train kitchen staff including up to six kitchen assistants
- Maintain accurate financial records and oversee cash collection as per Colorado Department of Education guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all school food service regulatory agencies and pursue upcoming regulatory changes
- Oversee food safety practices including HACCP and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory, production, and meal cost control to meet Profit and Loss targets
- Handle employee issues with discretion and conduct performance management conversations
