Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service environment
- Passion for the food service industry
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality environment
- A passion for the food service industry and must be a people first person
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- culinary or hospitality degree a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
- ability to develop and retain talent
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications is a plus but we do provide training for it
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organization skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and stand/walk for extended periods

Job Duties
- Lead, train and motivate the kitchen staff to consistently deliver high quality food
- Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards in compliance with local health regulations
- Oversee food preparation, portioning, plating and presentation to ensure it meets menu specifications and consistency
- Manage food ordering, inventory control, waste reduction and cost of goods in alignment with budget goals
- Create, adjust and monitor kitchen schedules and labor allocation to ensure efficient staffing
- Assist in menu implementation, recipe adherence, product knowledge, and training of new menu items
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless guest experience, timely delivery and service flow
- Resolve kitchen operational issues, maintain equipment functionality, and escalate maintenance needs as required
- Uphold company policies and procedures, participate in team meetings, and foster a positive, inclusive culture
