Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • two to four years supervisory or management experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • ability to move safely around the kitchen environment
  • ability to handle food and kitchen tools safely
  • ability to bend, stoop, stand, and kneel as needed
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to adapt to temperature changes in the kitchen work area

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • culinary arts courses or related degree preferred
  • two to four years supervisory or management experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • strong cooking skills and culinary confidence
  • excellent people management and communication skills
  • proven team leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • time management and organizational proficiency
  • flexibility and adaptability to work various shifts
  • passion for teaching and mentoring staff

Job Duties

  • Control day-to-day culinary operations of the venue
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and appearance standards
  • manage inventory and food ordering including costing and documentation
  • ensure security and proper storage of food and kitchen inventory
  • maintain all kitchen equipment and ensure regular cleaning
  • resolve employee conflicts and customer service issues promptly
  • lead and motivate kitchen staff maintaining high quality product and service standards
