Job Requirements

- two to four years experience supervising or managing kitchen staff
- experience with inventory control and food ordering
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Control the day-to-day culinary operations of the kitchen within company policies
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper uniforms
- update and document costing of dishes prepared and sold
- establish inventory procedures and maintain stock levels
- ensure proper storage, security, and timely replenishment of supplies
- maintain and clean kitchen equipment and areas in compliance with health standards
- resolve employee conflicts and customer issues quickly
- lead and motivate staff during busy shifts
- interact with guests courteously to address service concerns
- ensure consistent product and service quality
- control food costs through ordering and inventory management
- communicate standards and cooking methods to staff effectively
- ensure a safe working environment
- organize work schedules and cleaning routines
- recruit, interview, hire, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff
- train employees and lead by example
