Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • two to four years experience supervising or managing kitchen staff
  • experience with inventory control and food ordering
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • attention to detail
  • flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • passion for teaching and motivating others

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • culinary arts courses or certifications preferred
  • two to four years of supervisory or managerial experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • strong cooking skills and confidence

  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely

Job Duties

  • Control the day-to-day culinary operations of the kitchen within company policies
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper uniforms
  • update and document costing of dishes prepared and sold
  • establish inventory procedures and maintain stock levels
  • ensure proper storage, security, and timely replenishment of supplies
  • maintain and clean kitchen equipment and areas in compliance with health standards
  • resolve employee conflicts and customer issues quickly
  • lead and motivate staff during busy shifts
  • interact with guests courteously to address service concerns
  • ensure consistent product and service quality
  • control food costs through ordering and inventory management
  • communicate standards and cooking methods to staff effectively
  • ensure a safe working environment
  • organize work schedules and cleaning routines
  • recruit, interview, hire, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff
  • train employees and lead by example
