Job Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. with minimum age 16
  • must have reliable transportation public or private
  • ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift 50 lbs, and stand for long shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Previous BOH management experience such as Kitchen Manager, Chef, Sous Chef, or Lead Line Cook
  • strong scratch-kitchen and recipe execution skills
  • experience managing ordering, inventory, and vendor communication
  • proven success training and motivating a kitchen team
  • food safety certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead BOH operations in a busy neighborhood restaurant
  • manage ordering, receiving, inventory, and food cost control
  • maintain all food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe standards
  • train, schedule, and motivate a team of 5-10 BOH employees
  • ensure recipe accuracy, portion consistency, and plate presentation
  • support a respectful, guest-focused culture and a smooth service flow
