Job Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. with minimum age 16
- must have reliable transportation public or private
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift 50 lbs, and stand for long shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous BOH management experience such as Kitchen Manager, Chef, Sous Chef, or Lead Line Cook
- strong scratch-kitchen and recipe execution skills
- experience managing ordering, inventory, and vendor communication
- proven success training and motivating a kitchen team
- food safety certification preferred
Job Duties
- Lead BOH operations in a busy neighborhood restaurant
- manage ordering, receiving, inventory, and food cost control
- maintain all food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe standards
- train, schedule, and motivate a team of 5-10 BOH employees
- ensure recipe accuracy, portion consistency, and plate presentation
- support a respectful, guest-focused culture and a smooth service flow
