Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a full-service high volume kitchen
- Experience managing employees
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts standing or walking for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Basic knife skills
- Knowledge of health department cleanliness codes
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain presentation standards
- Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to create and maintain weekly work schedules
- Proficiency in Excel for inventory and cost management
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a full-service high volume kitchen

- Knife skills to suit station prep
- Culinary cleanliness to health department code
- Ability to follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to write a weekly work schedule
- Ability to work with Excel spreadsheets for inventory and cost controls
Job Duties
- Maintain food quality with sense of urgency towards check times
- Strong communication skills
- Help run the kitchen working directly under the executive chef
- In charge of leading, teaching, and developing current and new staff
- Help prepare and create weekly specials
- Ability to work 8-10 hour plus shifts, ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation to and from work
