Job Requirements

  • Food management certification
  • Flexibility for scheduling including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to transfer to different geographical locations
  • Ability to work 50-55 hours per week
  • Able to stand and move about for up to 4 hours at length
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
  • Proficient coordination to operate kitchen equipment
  • Ability to read, write, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
  • Adherence to company dress and grooming policies
  • Must communicate effectively in English
  • Ownership mentality

Job Qualifications

  • Current food management certification

  • Proficient knowledge of all kitchen stations including expo
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to write and read English
  • Understanding of Florida State health code standards
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Experience managing a kitchen or similar fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Lead the back-of-house team through all kitchen operations including ordering, receiving, prep, service, cleaning, and closing
  • Communicate all kitchen issues with management throughout the day
  • Document and read daily logs and weekly memos
  • Attend weekly manager, monthly staff, and quarterly supervisor meetings
  • Complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
  • Enforce proper measurements, recipe adherence, cleanliness, check time ceilings, and quality control
  • Conduct interviews and adhere to hiring policies
