Job Requirements

  • Experience in medium/high-volume restaurant environments
  • Leadership experience with hiring, coaching, and team management
  • ServeSafe Manager certification or intention to acquire it
  • Ability to lead 5+ team members with hands-on approach
  • Adaptability to fast-changing environments
  • Strong problem-solving mindset
  • Analytical skills with comfort using spreadsheets
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of inventory management and fulfillment operations
  • Compliance with food safety and operational standards

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in medium/high-volume fast-casual or full-service restaurant environment
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams including hiring, scheduling, coaching, and performance management
  • ServeSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Hands-on leadership skills motivating teams of 5+ employees
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, startup-style environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with openness to challenge established processes
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making ability using Excel or Google Sheets
  • Working knowledge of inventory management systems and fulfillment best practices
  • Flexibility to work late-night and weekend hours
  • Ability to balance kitchen and fulfillment operations understanding their impact on overall site metrics

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop a team of kitchen associates and shift leads
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring food safety, order accuracy, and quality standards
  • Manage staffing and scheduling to meet kitchen performance targets
  • Coordinate with Site Manager and cross-functional teams to implement new initiatives and process improvements
  • Monitor inventory controls and maintain compliance with safety protocols
  • Handle onsite escalations and serve as a change agent during growth projects
  • Collaborate with central teams to support training and quality assurance
