Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- current food management certification
- minimum of two years’ experience in a culinary or kitchen management role
- demonstrated leadership ability
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency in English reading and writing
- willingness to travel or transfer to locations up to 30 miles from the original work site
Job Qualifications
- Current food management certification
- demonstrate an ownership mentality
- flexibility for scheduling
- willing to transfer to different geographical locations
- able to work a five-day workweek totaling 50-55 hours
- two days off between Monday and Thursday
- adept at ordering and formulating pars
- understanding and compliance with Florida State health code standards
- adhere to hiring policies and conduct interviews timely
- able to issue written evaluations for performance
- able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
- able to read and write English
- mobility to stand and move for up to four hours at a moderate pace
- stamina to work 50-55 hours per week
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
- able to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
- coordination to operate kitchen equipment
- adhere to dress and grooming policies
- proficient at all kitchen stations including expo
Job Duties
- Communicate kitchen issues with management throughout the day
- read and write notes in the manager’s daily log
- attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
- read the weekly memo
- complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
- communicate with all managers on duty when shifts are completed
- provide accurate, honest reports of all events both positive and negative
- comply with all policies, rules, and directions covered in manuals, memos, and meetings
- enforce proper measurements, recipe adherence, cleanliness, check time ceilings, and quality control
- attend quarterly supervisor meetings
