Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years of relevant culinary or kitchen management experience
  • food manager protection certification
  • ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen responsibilities
  • basic computer skills for managing orders and inventory

Job Duties

  • Delegate and give direction to diligently complete tasks
  • work with a sense of urgency, with intent and efficiency
  • communicate strongly with front-of-house, back-of-house and management
  • organize orders, invoices and inventory
  • complete assigned shift duties
  • maintain a clean station and work area
  • meet or exceed industry standards for food preparation, serving and storing
  • hold staff to high standards and accountability
  • follow all recipes, policies and procedures
  • make initiative to solve problems as they come
  • assign cleaning duties as needed
  • ensure all food preparation is completed for the next shift
  • accurately complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning lists
  • assist with training of all back-of-house personnel
  • demonstrate passion for self-development and development of others
