Job Requirements
- Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant kitchen experience
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role in banquet or large-scale catering
- Food Safety Certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long durations and lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively

Job Duties
- Assist in menu creation and recipe development for banquet events
- Ensure all food items meet quality standards and specifications
- Coordinate with event managers on dietary restrictions and special requests
- Oversee daily banquet kitchen operations ensuring high standards
- Supervise and lead kitchen staff promoting training and motivation
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet expectations
- Inspect food preparation compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor kitchen staff performance providing feedback
- Work closely with Banquet Manager and event planners for smooth event execution
- Manage kitchen workflow during high-volume events
- Adjust production schedules based on events
- Assist in training new kitchen staff
- Foster team-oriented environment
- Ensure staff understands safety protocols
- Help manage food and labor costs within budget
- Minimize food waste and ensure portioning
- Ensure kitchen complies with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organize kitchen areas
- Oversee proper storage and handling of food products
