Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years restaurant culinary experience required
- Certified Food Safety Manager certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Speak and hear to communicate with guests
- Use near and distance vision for POS system operation
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently climb stairs
- Regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequently sit, kneel, bend, and reach
- Use gross motor skills with frequent bi-manual and fine motor skills for computer use
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Hospitality or Culinary preferred
- Minimum 3 years restaurant culinary experience
- Special event catering experience preferred
- Experience in fiscal management and revenue enhancement
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Leadership skills focused on coaching and development
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Lead daily culinary operations
- Coordinate with Food & Beverage Manager and events team to produce in-house catering and special event menus
- Manage staffing for concession and event kitchens
- Schedule staff to align with labor budgets while ensuring exceptional guest experience
- Implement training programs for culinary staff
- Train culinary team on food preparation, cooking, presentation, and storage
- Manage third-party or contract kitchen staff ensuring adherence to company standards
- Oversee maintenance, cleaning, and operation of kitchen and concession equipment
- Manage purchasing and inventory for food, beverage, and non-food products
- Process invoices accurately and promptly
- Ensure compliance with inventory policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inventory counts in coordination with accounting
- Respond to guest complaints to ensure exceptional service
- Perform all kitchen functions including food preparation, sanitation, and receiving
- Uphold menu and recipe standards
- Model company service steps and communicate corporate policies
- Participate in annual company audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
