Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in kitchen management or culinary operations
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Skilled in inventory oversight and food ordering
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and enforce sanitation in the kitchen
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
  • Bilingual is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of relevant experience in kitchen management or a related culinary role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Experience with inventory management and budgeting
  • Ability to train and lead kitchen staff effectively
  • Competent in managing vendor relationships
  • Understanding of portion control and quality standards
  • Bilingual abilities considered a plus

Job Duties

  • Reviewing the menu and doing inventory
  • Following the budget set by the Restaurant Manager
  • Ordering food for the kitchen
  • Monitoring food production and food and staff costs
  • Training staff
  • Managing relationships with distributors and resolving any issues with vendors promptly
  • Ensuring standard portions and quality of dishes
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen
