Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in kitchen management or culinary operations
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Skilled in inventory oversight and food ordering
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and enforce sanitation in the kitchen
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Bilingual is a plus
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of relevant experience in kitchen management or a related culinary role
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Experience with inventory management and budgeting
- Ability to train and lead kitchen staff effectively
- Competent in managing vendor relationships
- Understanding of portion control and quality standards
- Bilingual abilities considered a plus
Job Duties
- Reviewing the menu and doing inventory
- Following the budget set by the Restaurant Manager
- Ordering food for the kitchen
- Monitoring food production and food and staff costs
- Training staff
- Managing relationships with distributors and resolving any issues with vendors promptly
- Ensuring standard portions and quality of dishes
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen
