Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of kitchen management experience
- Current ServSafe certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Capacity to stand, walk, bend for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift objects with assistance
- Effective leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Job Qualifications
- Three plus years of kitchen management experience
- Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- Experience preparing banquet-style events preferred
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High-level profit and loss management capability
- Excellent organizational skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- Work with the operations team and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
- Assist with cooking when needed
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the specified food program
- Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local health regulations
