Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach and twist, climb ladder, and stand for long periods of time
- Open availability including Fridays and Saturdays
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week with overtime ability
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be age 18 or older
- Must be authorized to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- ServeSafe certified or ability to pass the test if administered by employer
- Allergen certified
- Experience in food service management preferred
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Proficient in planning and scheduling
- Ability to work collaboratively with team and management
Job Duties
- Lead kitchen team to maintain a food safe environment that consistently delivers crave-able food in a timely manner which meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A quality requirements
- Coach the behaviors of the kitchen and back of house team including assistant KM, team leaders, team members, and trainers
- Ensure serving guests under 4 minutes without compromising accuracy and team and food safety
- Monitor attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures follow Chick-fil-A brand standards
- Execute systems including JOLT checklist to ensure a refreshingly clean environment
- Maintain a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety with top 10% board of health inspection and GOOD SAFE evaluation
- Collaborate daily with assistant kitchen manager and general manager to ensure maximum productivity and troubleshoot issues
- Support LEAN365 production and waste management practices
- Coach, evaluate, and provide accountability and feedback daily for all kitchen team leaders and team members to the general manager
- Execute 4-step progressive discipline policy
- Lead and execute formal annual feedback/review process and training plans for team members and semi-annual for assistant KM and kitchen team leaders
- Develop assistant kitchen manager, team leaders, and trainers consistently and deliberately
