Job Requirements
- three plus years of kitchen management experience
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- current servsafe certification required
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong leadership and communication skills
- must be able to walk, bend, stand for prolonged periods
- may lift objects with some assistance
Job Qualifications
- three plus years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- experience preparing banquet style events
- current servsafe certification required
- servsafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
Job Duties
- adhere to the company’s mandated f&b menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- work with operations team and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute all events, including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
- schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local department of health regulations
