Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years kitchen management experience
  • Valid ServSafe certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume entertainment or retail environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Ability to manage budgets, costs, and staffing efficiently
  • Willingness to comply with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to occasionally lift objects with assistance
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • Experience preparing banquet-style events
  • Current ServSafe certification required
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High-level profit and loss capability
  • Leadership experience in managing and developing kitchen teams

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events
  • Supervise preparation and service of all food and beverage including cleanup
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, presentation, portioning, garnishing, and storage meet company standards
  • Facilitate and manage kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
