Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years kitchen management experience
- Valid ServSafe certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume entertainment or retail environment
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Ability to manage budgets, costs, and staffing efficiently
- Willingness to comply with sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to occasionally lift objects with assistance
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of kitchen management experience
- Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- Experience preparing banquet-style events
- Current ServSafe certification required
- ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High-level profit and loss capability
- Leadership experience in managing and developing kitchen teams
Job Duties
- Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs
- Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow
- Review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- Work with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events
- Supervise preparation and service of all food and beverage including cleanup
- Estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
- Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate shifts in business volume
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- Ensure product quality, freshness, presentation, portioning, garnishing, and storage meet company standards
- Facilitate and manage kitchen equipment maintenance
- Conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local Department of Health regulations
