Job Requirements

  • Previous kitchen management experience
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen management or similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Ability to manage food costs and labor schedules effectively
  • Experience conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic restaurant environment

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
  • Managing performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Assisting with employee development through daily feedback and one-on-ones
  • Conducting formal line Taste & Temp checks and managing inventory and safety
  • Overseeing handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • Directing Back of House employees' work schedules and tasks
  • Training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring Back of House employees
  • Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with core values
