Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a kitchen or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Capability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to kitchen operations
- Effective problem-solving skills and decision-making capability

- Proven experience in kitchen or food service management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage inventory, food costs, and labor expenses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in training and developing staff
- Ability to conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
Job Duties
- Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food consistent with established recipes and procedures
- Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
- Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient food item ticket times
- Managing performance of Back of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Assisting in development of key employees and providing daily feedback
- Conducting formal line Taste and Temp checks for inventory and safety
- Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all kitchen items
- Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
- Setting hours and weekly schedules for Back of House employees and assigning tasks
- Training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
- Reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending hiring for Back of House employees
- Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with company values and goals
