Job Duties

  • Oversee and coordinate all kitchen activities, ensuring food is prepared and served according to Uncle Giuseppe's recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Conduct hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Maintain and monitor kitchen inventory, placing orders based on menu needs and business demand
  • Partner with department managers to develop menu items, set pricing, and determine portion sizes
  • Schedule shifts based on business needs, holidays, and special events
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
