Job Requirements

  • Experience in culinary management in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
  • Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Experience with inventory management and cost control
  • Proficiency in labor scheduling and labor cost monitoring
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with front-of-house teams

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a kitchen manager, sous chef, or similar culinary leadership role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop kitchen staff
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and health codes

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and mentor the BOH team ensuring efficient operations and high food quality
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and food costs to ensure profitability and waste control
  • Effectively manage labor costs by creating efficient schedules, monitoring staffing needs, and controlling overtime
  • Manage kitchen staff scheduling, performance, and development
  • Work closely with FOH leadership to ensure seamless service and communication
