Job Requirements
- Experience in culinary management in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
- Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
- Proficiency in labor scheduling and labor cost monitoring
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with front-of-house teams
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a kitchen manager, sous chef, or similar culinary leadership role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop kitchen staff
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and health codes
Job Duties
- Lead, train, and mentor the BOH team ensuring efficient operations and high food quality
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and food costs to ensure profitability and waste control
- Effectively manage labor costs by creating efficient schedules, monitoring staffing needs, and controlling overtime
- Manage kitchen staff scheduling, performance, and development
- Work closely with FOH leadership to ensure seamless service and communication
